DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA STUDIES (Self Financing)

The Department of Media Studies started functioning as an independent department from 2019 onwards.  The department offers Bachelor’s degree programmes in Journalism and Mass Communication and Animation and Graphic Design. Our department achieved an outstanding milestone with the first batch of students securing the top three ranks.

The department aims at providing excellent theoretical knowledge paired with relevant practical training to step-into the various domains of media. The top-notch infrastructure facilities with a fully functional Visual Studio, along with a team of talented and experienced faculty members have helped us achieve a prominent place among the media institutes. The fundamentals of almost all aspects of publication and media production along with media management are dealt within the duration of the programme period.

The co-curricular activities like Guest lectures, Media workshops, Seminars, Industry visits, and Intercollegiate Media fests like R^{^}EVE encourage interactions, promote teamwork, help train the students, and provide insights about the various industries that they are going to team up with.
