Devagiri
College has always been in the forefront in promoting fine
arts and literature, and among its former students are cine-actors,
playback singers, writers, and widely acclaimed practitioners
of other art forms. Continuing the tradition of patronizing
art and literature, Devagiri offered itself as a venue for
the conduct of the off-stage items of the Calicut University
B-Zone competitions this year. And in the competitions, this
institution came out first in the off-stage category and was
placed third in the list of overall champions.
